Our story
Moving day shouldn't feel like a disaster movie.
That's the whole reason Smoove exists — one team, one route, no surprises at the door.
Where it started
One van, one promise.
Smoove started small — a single truck, a short list of local jobs, and a simple rule: quote it straight, then do exactly what was quoted. No callback fees, no "extra" boxes on the invoice.
That rule is still the one we run the business on. As the jobs got bigger — more rooms, longer routes, moves that crossed a border — the rule didn't change, only the logistics behind it did.
Where we're going
Every move, one point of contact.
Whether it's a studio flat across town or a household shipped to another country, the person who quoted the move is reachable for the whole thing — not a different call centre at each stage.
We're building Smoove around that idea: fewer handoffs, clearer paperwork, and a crew that treats your things like they're carrying their own.
What we hold ourselves to
Three things that don't get compromised.
Straight quotes
The price we give is the price on the invoice. If something changes on-site, we tell you before we act, not after.
Careful hands
Furniture gets wrapped, corners get padded, and fragile boxes get labelled and loaded last-off, first-off.
One contact
You get a name and a number at the start of the move, and that's who you talk to until the last box is inside.
The name
"Smoove" is what a move should feel like when nothing's gone wrong — because someone planned it that way, not because you got lucky.
